Happiness is a choice
Here are a few of the top ways to feel more happier:
Get in your flow – find activities that consume you in a good way!
Practice empathy and gratitude
Connect in person with a good friend – being apart of a community helps too! Interact with your neighbours
Happy people are healthier
Happy people embrace adversity
I personally get great happiness out of yoga, dancing, listening to great music or a funny story, movie or book and lastly being in nature is all part of my feel good juice!

What a great article!
I once kept a daily gratitude journal for 365 days, pretty much the last thing I did every night. It changes how you see the world and that there is so much to be grateful for. Having traveled to Africa and Haiti, as well as several communist countries, I also appreciate what we have here in Canada and don't take it for granted.
Meditation and mindfulness is my next challenge to quiet the mind, stay present and do more good – for me and the world around me.
A journal is a great way to track and reflect on your life. My sister bought me a “one line a day” journal which is great for quick reflections!
Wow, Leigh Mitchell, you have written so well. I am very glad to read it. This is really praiseworthy.
