Kids & Company (“Kidco”) is proudly Canadian and was founded in 2002 by Victoria Sopik, CEO and Jennifer Nashmi, CFO as a unique alternative to traditional child care. Kidco is unique as it seeks to solve the child care dilemma by partnering with companies and using those relationships as conduits to reach employees with the goal of delivering highly creative and unique benefits with a special emphasis on emergency back-up child care. Since inception, Kids & Company has evolved from 1 child care centre in 1 city, with 1 corporate client and 4 employees to over 70 centres with over 200 corporate clients and almost 1400 employees. The co-founders have innovatively redefined how traditional child care is offered to parents in Canada, and now into the United States.

Kids & Company is Canada’s leading corporate-sponsored child care provider. Kids & Company works directly with family-oriented corporations to develop progressive child care options that help address employees’ work-life balance and productivity challenges. By partnering with Kids & Company, top tier companies from a variety of industry sectors, are able to add child care assistance, including guaranteed full-time, part-time, and emergency back-up care, and elder care to their suite of employee benefits. Kids & Company is now a cornerstone for countless employee wellness strategies and they recognized a need in the marketplace, and desire of corporate Canada to assist their employees by providing work-life balance solutions – one of these being child care assistance. Certain locations also offer community base care.
