Shelagh Cummins is a business trainer & consultant for Entrepreneurial Moms and co-founder of MomBiz.com – the coaching and training company serving the MomBizTM Owners global community.
Her Grow Your Business signature program blends set curriculum, intensive training and consulting for women who are ready to expand their business beyond themselves.

Shelagh changes diapers really fast, takes calls from the park and burns ribs on the BBQ while chasing after her 3 children (sometimes with a towel on her head fresh out of the shower.)
How does your business help entrepreneurs and professional women?
I focused on the 3 main areas where entrepreneurial moms and I have struggled. Time, Money, and Growth.
Owning your time is a process. It’s not just relying on a daily agenda. Learning how to Shake Your MoneymakerTM and playing in your passion is hard for us entrepreneurs. We are so used to doing everything for ourselves. But as your business grows, Shaking Your MoneymakerTM will be the difference between you owning your time and having your time own you.
To increase revenue, there is a simple formula. It involves becoming crystal clear on your ideal client, understanding what problem you solve and how you solve it, and knowing why your clients should buy from you. Next add in the special mix of branding, marketing, sales and pricing. Easy, right? If it was easy then 80% of small businesses wouldn’t close their doors in less than 3 years. If it was easy, then 90% of women entrepreneurs wouldn’t be earning less than $50,000. True facts!
Planning for future growth. Scaling your business, growing beyond you, building a team, leaving a legacy, not doing it all… yup, that’s all planning for future growth. What are you passionate about in your business and what steps are you taking to make it profitable?
I am passionate about starting a revolution for entrepreneurial moms: a revolution where we own our time, double our income and earn what we’re worth and make no apologies for the amazing value we bring to the marketplace.
There are too many women owned businesses out there that are playing small, that are undercharging and whose owners are working around the clock at the expense of their health, their sanity, their relationships and their life. Enough is enough.

So many times we get caught on the HOW to get to where we want to go and forget to focus on WHAT we want. The HOW is always figure-outable (is that a word?) – it’s the what that comes from within you.
