Esthela Cuenca is Founder of the Spanish Speaking English Network (SSEN), a non-profit organization located in Toronto that supports the Hispanic community by engaging youth & parents through education, mentoring, conferences, and life-skills.
How can your experience or your business help fellow conference attendees?
Our experiences with SSEN can offer insights into social good in the non-profit industry in the City of Toronto in terms of networking, strategic planning and partnerships and how to develop successful community-based events.
What do you hope to take away from the conference?
I hope to learn from others and network with like-minded people.
What do you think is our greatest social problem today? Any suggestions to solve it?
Barrier created by poverty and access to education. One suggestion is to support economic development and pathways to equal education for all.
