Nicole Troster is a Director of Provincial Affairs with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business in Ontario. In this capacity, she conducts policy research, analysis and advocates on behalf of small businesses on issues that concern: government finances, workers’ compensation, labour policy, regulation, infrastructure and municipal affairs.
Prior to joining CFIB in 2010, Nicole was the National Program Manager at the ADR Institute of Canada. She also served as a Performance Auditor intern at the Office of the Auditor General of Canada and worked as a Senior Program Assistant at Ryerson University.
Nicole graduated with a bilingual Master of Public and International Affairs from Glendon College, York University. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Business Management and minors in Law and International Business from Ryerson University.
Fluent in English, French and Portuguese, Nicole enjoys exploring and experiencing the different cultures Toronto has to offer.
