Vancouver, ON –On November 1st Women in Biz Network, Canada’s leading network for women is landing is making a splash in Vancouver with its first west coast event.
“Did you know that there are more entrepreneurs in Vancouver then in any other Canadian city?” asks Leigh Mitchell, conference chair and CEO of Her Community Inc. “ The entrepreneurial women of British Columbia have always inspired me and that is why we’re decided to bring the momentum we’ve grown in Toronto to the entrepreneur market in Vancouver.”
Sponsored by Chevrolet Canada and Maple Leaf Foods, The Women in Biz Event Vancouver follows a sold-out performance in Toronto this spring at the Women in Biz Conference. The average event attracts 70 women and the organization has been known to trend on Twitter on Toronto.
The networking event features a great session called ‘Branding your Biz’, a talk led by Miss 604’s Rebecca Bollwitt and Heather White of 2020 Communications who are the “it” girls of social media in Vancouver.
